Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty who was born on December 8, 1982, known in the music industry as Nicki Minaj is a Trinidadian-born American rapper, singer, and songwriter. Onika Tanya Maraj was conceived in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago’s Saint James neighbourhood. Her father, Robert Maraj, was a business executive who occasionally sang evangelistic music (1956–2021).
