Christina Aguilera had a very important message for her followers and anyone else that stumbled upon it! The singer actually shared a fragment from her personal diary in which she got candid about the quarantine and mental health!

It’s safe to say that the isolation orders amid the COVID-19 pandemic haven’t been the easiest on people’s minds and health in general.

So, many need a little help to get through it all with a minimum of added stress and anxiety.

That is when the singer comes in with a bit of wisdom of her own!

The IG post that she shared includes snippets from her diary and reads: ‘Today I’m starting #DiaryDares.’

She goes on to tag some of her famous pals, including Lizzo, Halle Berry, Alicia Keys, Cleo Wade and Demi Lovato.

‘Especially at this time, it is essential to dig deep, listen to ourselves, and create a ‘safe space’ for one another,’ she goes on to explain.

Of course, she also encouraged fans to join in as well, look inward and then ‘share current or past experiences (hardships or highlights), reflect on who we want to be, how we wish to live when we come out of this, and what we want to leave behind. They [diaries] keep me grounded, centered, and allow me to listen to my own voice – amongst all of the noise of this business. Reviewing them, I’m thankful to be able to look back on how my life’s shaped me and how my journey’s led me here.’

‘I dare us to be real, fearless, take away the filters and be comfortable enough in our own individual beauty. I dare us to come together and share our feelings in a time that is uncertain – whether we may feel scared, lonely, and everything in between. I dare us to read each other’s truths and support them. Lift each other up,’ the songstress also wrote.

She then reminded people that it’s #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth, and argued that this sort of exercise is not only important but also ‘cathartic’ and will definitely help people feel better and stronger.
