The police said that Brandi was driving a 2016 Toyota Corolla southbound on the interstate when she lost control of her vehicle and hit the median wall.

The impact caused her car to spin and cross the lanes, where it was struck by a 2018 Ford F-150 pickup truck that was traveling northbound. The collision resulted in a fire that engulfed both vehicles.

The police and the fire department arrived at the scene and extinguished the fire. They found Brandi trapped inside her car and pronounced her dead at the scene.
