Thomas Carlyle Ford, popularly known as Tom Ford is the son of Tom Ford, Sr., and Shirley Bunton. He is one of Tom Ford’s. Sr’s two children. He graduated from Santa Fe Preparatory School in 1979 after moving from St. Michael’s High School.

Ford married Richard Buckley in 2014 after meeting for more than two decades. They had been in a relationship since meeting in 1986 until 2014 when they finally tied the knot. The couple has a son, Alexander John Buckley Ford who was born in September 2012.
