The Irwins are members of a world-famous family who works as zookeepers at the Australia Zoo as they follow in their patriarch’s footsteps in taking care of animals.

The family has the likes of Bob Irwin – an Australian naturalist, animal conservationist, former zookeeper, and herpetologist known for his conservation and husbandry work with apex predators and reptiles.

He is the founder of the Queensland Reptile and Fauna Park.

He is the father of three and one of his children, Steve Irwin is also a famous Australian zookeeper, conservationist, television personality, wildlife educator, and environmentalist who was educated regarding crocodiles and other reptiles by his father Bob.

Even though he grew around crocodiles and other reptiles and even worked taking care of them, he sadly passed away on September 4, 2006, in Batt Reef, Australia after being pierced in the chest by a short-tail stingray barb while filming in the Great Barrier Reef with Philippe Cousteau Jr.

Steve on the other hand is the father of two – a son and a daughter;  Robert Clarence Irwin and Bindi Irwin who are all zookeepers.
