Advanced SearchJeff Kober is an American actor best known for his role of Jacob Hale, Jr. in the FX series ‘Sons of Anarchy’. A native of Billings, Montana, he worked in a ranch and factory before relocating to Los Angeles in his twenties. Interested in the performing arts, he became a member of the band ‘The Walking Wounded’. After studying acting with the renowned acting educator Ed Kaye-Martin, he made his first appearance on television with a non-billed role in the 1980s show ‘V’. In 1986, he made his film debut with the movie ‘Out of Bounds’. He then moved on to work in numerous television series, films, and theatrical productions. His television credits include ‘China Beach’, ‘Kindred: The Embraced,’ ‘Sons of Anarchy’ and ‘The Walking Dead’. As a stage actor, he played the father in Jenny Sullivan's autobiographical project ‘J For J’. In addition to being an actor, he is also an artist, musician, and writer. He studied acting with the famous educator Ed Kaye-Martin and was a student of Candace Silvers as well.He married Rhonda Talbot on 4 February 1989, and the couple welcomed one child together before ending their marriage. On 25 August 1998, he married fashion publicist Kelly Cutrone, the founder of People's Revolution, a fashion PR company. Their marriage also ended in a divorce. He then married Adele Slaughter on 31 December 2013.Along with being an actor, he is also a bass guitarist and a former member of the band ‘The Walking Wounded’. While shooting the television series ‘China Beach’, he visited Vietnam with his co-star Dana Delany and their visit was documented in the ‘Dana Delany’ episode of the series ‘Intimate Portrait’ (1993), featuring a discussion and photographs from the trip. As an artist, he was responsible for the paintings attributed to his character Daedalus on ‘Kindred: The Embraced’.
