Karisma Kapoor is enjoying some Hawaiian vibes! The 47-year-old Indian actress shared a photo of herself with her nearest and dearest, all wearing bathing suits as they enjoyed an afternoon in the tropics. "Aloha," she captioned the image. Karisma is a big fan of old fashioned walking. "I don't do anything major, nothing too crazy. If you take a walk in your building or climb the stairs, it's great," she said, per Vogue India. "Walks are important, it is an easy way to get your metabolism up."

"I do an hour of yoga every day, it relaxes you, calms your nerves and provides a lot of positive energy," she told The Times of India. She is even a fan of aerial yoga, which she can be seen doing here. "Aside from the physical benefits, one of the best benefits of yoga is how it helps a person manage stress, which is known to have devastating effects on the body and mind," says the American Osteopathic Association. "Stress can reveal itself in many ways, including back or neck pain, sleeping problems, headaches, drug abuse, and an inability to concentrate," Natalie Nevins, DO, a board-certified osteopathic family physician and certified Kundalini Yoga instructor in Hollywood, California, tells them. "Yoga can be very effective in developing coping skills and reaching a more positive outlook on life."

Karisma is a big proponent of self-care. "After a long week, I love to indulge myself with a massage, whether it's foot reflexology or aromatherapy to soothe the senses," she told Vogue India. 

Karisma isn't extreme when it comes to her eating habits. "I am not paranoid about my weight; I don't want a thin self," she told Times of India. "Instead, I eat 6-7 small meals in a day keeping a gap of two to three hours between each. Remember moderation is key!" she added. "I don't deprive myself, if I like something I will 'eat' it and not 'taste' it. You cannot stick to crazy diets in the long run. Just eat wisely and exercise regularly."

Karisma also lifts light weights. "I usually do a weight routine about 3 to 4 times in a week. It is important for every person to indulge in one fitness activity every day, it can be anything, from walking, to skipping, to running or gym workouts," she told Times of India.
