Katherine LaNasa was born on December 1, 1966 in New Orleans, Louisiana, U.S. As a ballet dancer, she had danced with Salt Lake City’s Ballet West and the Karole Armitage Ballet.
Her first film appearance was in the 1990 film Catchfire. She also landed guest roles in several television shows including Seinfeld, 3rd Rock from the Sun, Touched by an Angel, and The Practice.
In 2001, she landed her first lead role in the comedy series Three Sisters. She later had recurring roles in a number of series such as The Guardian, Judging Amy, Two and a Half Men and 12 Miles of Bad Road.
