Dantte Ann Dowd, 57, of Meriden, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at Middlesex Hospital. Born in New Haven on October 19, 1965, she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Caroline (Klimas) Christopher.

As a young woman, Danette met her soulmate, Kevin. The two quickly fell in love and got married; they made their home and raised their family in Meriden.

Danette is survived by her beloved husband, Kevin Dowd of Meriden; her daughter, Shannon Dowd and her partner, Charles Jackson of Meriden; her son, Tyler Dowd of Meriden; her cherished grandsons, Trustin and Syilias Jackson of Meriden; her sisters, Cindy Smitt of Wallingford and Debra Donaldson of Wallingford; her in-laws, James and Shirley Dowd Jr. of East Haddam; her brothers-in-law and their wives, James and Jennifer Dowd III of Colchester, Andrew and Christine Dowd of Lebanon and Daniel and Emily Dowd of Virginia; as well as numerous extended family members and friends.
