A Los Angeles cop who died in what the office said was a preparation mishap was really killed for being a potential informant — and was going to uncover data about an assault by police, his family claims.

Houston Tipping, 32, died three days after an on the job occurrence at the office’s Elysian Park Institute on May 26. His demise has been administered a mishap.
