He is best remembered for his contribution to the feature films ‘Aliens,’ ‘The King's Speech,’ ‘Return of the Jedi,’ and ‘The Shining.’ His TV credits include ‘Game of Thrones’ and ‘Rome.’ Born in Cambridge, England, Kenzie started his career as a production runner and later worked as an assistant cameraman. His first feature film project was Stanley Kubrick's 1980 horror ‘The Shining.’ He then went on to work for a number of films and TV shows. Kenzie was later diagnosed with cancer. He died from the disease in 2012, at the age of 56. He was awarded with two ‘British Society of Cinematographers’ awards, one each for his contribution to ‘Band of Brothers’ and ‘Hamlet.’ He also earned a ‘Constellation Award’ nomination for his technical accomplishment in ‘Game of Thrones.’ Quick Facts
