Johnny Brown was an American actor, singer and comedian.

He was born in the year 1937 in St. Petersburg, Florida. Johnny had a long and successful career.

He was best recognized for his role on the CBS popular sitcom Good Times as Nathan Bookman. Johnny was a regular on the show until it was cancelled in 1979.

He also appeared on The Flip Wilson Show, The Jefferson, Family Matters, Sister Sister, The Jamie Foxx Show, The Wayans Bros., and Martin.

The late actor also played a waiter on a railroad dining car in the film The Out-of-Towners.

In terms of music, he started recording songs in the 1960s. He died at 84 years old.
