It must be really hard! Due to the fact that the episodes dealing with their split have been airing on Total Bellas, it’s like Nikki Bella and John Cena are feeling all of those confusing emotions and that heartbreak all over again.

Season four has been documenting their split as well as the woman moving on.

It makes sense that it would be such a big storyline on the show since she and John were together for no less than six years and were even living under the same roof before breaking their engagement.

In the premiere episode for season 4, Nikki was shown getting her own place!

She has also been dating here and there, including Peter Kraus, and her former DWTS partner Artem Chigvintsev.

Regardless, one source tells HollywoodLife that at the moment, she is single and that it has been really difficult for her as well as for Cena to relive all those emotions from back in August.

‘Nikki and John are on speaking terms, [but] they’re just not consistently speaking. Their breakup has been hard on both of them, and now that they have to relive it on TV with the premiere of Total Bellas, it’s been hard, and they both realize it is not going to get easier with it all being aired again. They will always love each other, but the love story is over.’

Nikki got candid about her feelings on the split in the first episode saying: ‘I don’t want to compare it [the breakup] to death or to divorce, but it is pretty much saying goodbye to something forever. He was the one who has always lifted me up, and it’s kicked my a** realizing I let go of my number 1 supporter.’
