Ramallah, Sep 20 (IANS) Nearly 150 Palestinian schools in East Jerusalem have shut down to challenge endeavors of the Israeli government to control course books and force the Israeli educational plan.

Around 100,000 understudies on mOnday ceased from going to their schools in consistence with the strike, an admonition step after the Israeli government started going to corrective lengths against schools to compel them to “drop the Palestinian story from the educational programs they instruct and to incorporate the Israeli account just”, official Palestinian news organization WAFA revealed.
