Pat Carroll was an American actress and comedian who was known for voicing Ursula in The Little Mermaid. She is the recipient of an Emmy, Drama Desk, and Grammy Award and was a Tony Award nominee.

In 1955, she married agent and manager, Lee Karsian and they had three children. However, their marriage ended in a divorce two decades later in 1976.

Their children are Tara Karsian, Sean Karsian, and Kerry Karsian. Her daughter Kerry, is a casting director.

Tara Karsian, like her mother, is an actress as well as a writer. Her career began with appearances in episodes of Married… with Children, Who’s the Boss?, Designing Women, Walker, Texas Ranger, and The X Files. She went on to make more appearances in TV shows.

She co-wrote and co-starred alongside Andrea Grano in the 2014 independent comedy film BFFs. The film also featured her mother Pat Carroll.
