Caleb Beppler’s demise A distraught mother reports that her son was killed in a fight on Saturday morning in Johnstown, Pennsylvania.

Just two months before the family was supposed to vacate the home, Caaleb Beppler, 21, died following a double shooting outside a local pub in Cambria City, according to Jennifer Marie Frazier, Caaleb’s mother.

“I have to tell that this city snatched my baby last night with enormous anguish and pain. I’m at a loss for what to do, how to handle this, or even what to say, but what I can promise you son is that it won’t be in vain since it was pointless. I’m going through a lot of trying to figure it out.

According to Cambria County Coroner Jeff Lees, police were called to the incident at the Liquid Currency pub on Second Avenue near Chestnut Street and Brallier Place. A man, age 21, passed away there.

A second victim was injured and sent to the hospital. Greg Neugebauer, the district attorney, said that investigators have found only one suspect to be involved in the crime and are now trying to identify him.

Officers from the Upper Yoder, West Hills, Richland, and Nanty Glo departments flocked to the crime site. The investigative service will arrange for an autopsy. Law enforcement is requested to get in touch with anyone with information.
