After having cancer surgery, Stephen Stills is recovering, says his wife. Graham Nash, Stills’ bandmate, revealed his illness in a December interview with talk show host Larry King. Stills, who turned 79 identified as having prostate cancer late last year.

At the time, Nash said that Stills’ life might have been saved by a timely diagnosis of the illness.

Still is still slated to attend the Sundance Film Festival, which will screen “CSNY/Deja Vu,” a documentary feature film on the Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young “Freedom of Speech” concert tour from 2006.

According to Kristen Stills’ statement, Stills also intends to embark on a North American solo tour this spring in support of his recently released album, “Just Roll Tape.”
