Doris Buffett was the elder sister of billionaire, Warren Buffett, who happens to be the world’s fifth-wealthiest person with a net worth of over $125 billion as of April 2022.

She was from a family of three siblings and happens to be the eldest child of the Buffett family.

Doris was the first child of  Leila Buffett and Congressman Howard Buffett. She has two siblings -a billionaire younger brother, Warren Buffett, and a younger sister Roberta Buffett Elliott.

She was born on February 12, 1928, in Omaha, Nebraska, United States but passed away on February 12, 1928, in Omaha, Nebraska, the United States at the age of 92.

Alex Rozek of Boston, Doris’ grandson, said Doris died of natural causes at home in Rockport.

Doris was an American philanthropist also known as the ‘retail’ philanthropist and the founder of The Sunshine Lady Foundation.

She was a divorcee who has been married four times to Truman Wood, George Lear, Edward Rozek, and Al Bryant.

Together with Truman Stevens Wood, they welcomed her three children; Marshall, Robin, and Sydney.

They were happily married until she passed away.
