Cable News Network (CNN) has fired one of its senior and most-popular journalists, Chris Cuomo.

His contract termination comes after he was accused of aiding his brother, Andrew Cuomo, the New York Governor, in covering up his sexual harassment allegations.

Andrew Cuomo has been cited for sexual harassment allegations – and in March 2021, Chris Cuomo refused to give the issue an audience on his show.

Many Americans claim Chris’ refusal to give his brother’s allegations audience could mean there was an apparent conflict of interest.

For defending his brother, CNN fired him on Saturday, December 4, 2021, with ‘immediate effect’.

What is Chris Cuomo salary at CNN?

Now, Chris Cuomo is back with a lawsuit targeting his former employer, CNN, revealing his salary.

According to New York Post, Chris has filed a lawsuit asking for $18 million left on his contract. He also alleged that CNN President Jeff Zucker knew about his brother’s case involvement.

Per his new four-year contract with CNN, which he signed in 2020, Chris Cuomo receives $6 million a year. This means  Chris Cuomo’s monthly salary at CNN is $500,000.
