Sebastian Berhalter is the son of us national team coach, gregg Berhalter. In London, England, on May 10, 2001, Sebastian Berhalter was born but he grew up in Columbus, Ohio. He is a midfielder in Major League Soccer.

He played youth football for Hammarby IF in Sweden between 2012 and 2013, where his father was the manager of the senior team.

In 2014, he enrolled in the Columbus Crew youth academy. Since then, he has climbed the ranks, made 103 appearances, and scored 11 goals. Berhalter participated in 16 games of collegiate soccer for the North Carolina Tar Heels of the University of North Carolina in 2019.
