Nathan Gregor Mendel, born on December 2, 1968, is an American musician best known as the Foo Fighters’ bass guitarist and a former member of Sunny Day Real Estate. He has also collaborated with the bands The Jealous Sound and The Fire Theft. He has only released one solo album titled, If I Kill This Thing, We’re All Going to Eat for a Week.

Noah Nathan Mendel, born on March 25^th, 2004 in Seattle is the son of Nathan Mendel and Rosemary Tachizaki. Just like his father, Noah is a musician for the band, Holy Cows. His father is of Ashkenazi Jewish (from Poland and Russia) and his mother is of Japanese descent.
